Who's involved in SOC?

Our growing membership, currently 85 men and women, is a mix of ages and backgrounds. Many have higher education qualifications but we are certainly not all 'boffins'. We read and contribute to a newsletter, meet each-other at educational events, form working groups to propose and tackle sustainbility projects or to write submissions.

We are a democratic incorporated society, governed by our members. Members delegate administration to the annually-elected executive committee. This meets on the fourth Tuesday evening of each month,and is open to attendance by any member. You'd enjoy meeting us and we would be very pleased to welcome you - many of our educational and action events are open to visitors, as prospective members, so do bring your friends or family along.
